About Mamta
Hi, I am Mamta Landerman
My passion has always been people and my explorations are about the unseen forces of the past present and future that shape and guide us, impacting our journey forward and shaping our destiny.
My curiosity has led me to explore, study and teach Ayurveda, Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), Clairvoyance, Jin Shin Jyutsu Acupressure, Reiki. Together they have allowed me to work with the physical and the formative forces that shape its physiology and functions, the subtle energy channels in the body, along with the chakra system and the formative light of our soul: Consciousness.
I am the Founding President of The California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM) and served from 1998 to 2003. In 2018, I was invited back to serve on the CAAM Board as President. I am honored to facilitate a resurgence of the Organization. At CAAM, we are reigniting interest in the advancement of the Ayurvedic Profession in California.
In 2001, I was inspired to produce the first Ayurveda Conference
in the US. It was the first time the Practitioners and Suppliers and Students of Ayurveda met under one roof. This resulted in brainstorms and sprouted many ventures and allowed for the growth of the Ayurvedic Profession. People attended with great pride and love for the Profession and it warms my heart to see how the tree of Ayurveda continues to grow.
Deeply interested in Mind, Body, Soul Wellbeing, my journey in healing started over 40 years ago with Energy work, Spiritual Counseling, and Jin Shin Jyutsu Acupressure has taken me back to my Indian roots of Ayurveda and Jyotisha. Along with my husband, we grew a lot of our own food and after his passing I continued our organic blueberry farm until mid-2021. Currently, I also serve on three external Faculty of the Kerala Ayurveda Academy (KAA) and I am also a freelance teacher of Ayurveda and Jyotisha in several parts of the U.S. I have also presented at numerous workshops, conferences, and retreats.
Definition of Health:
Health is not just having stamina in the physical body, but as Ayurveda explains so well, it is when we have balanced forces on a physical level that means a healthy metabolism, healthy tissues, a good digestive fire without inflammation, balanced Bio Forces that give us vitality, metabolic and transformational ability and anabolic forces that strengthen our organs. On a Mental emotional level, we need a stable mind, and contentment in the Soul.
This is a tall order that challenges our concepts of health, lifestyle and fulfillment of what we are striving to accomplish while experiencing inner joy and expression of our talents and passions. Each tiny step taken in this direction can change the kaleidoscopic pattern and experience of our life journey on a body, Mind. consciousness level.
My counseling and coaching is individually designed for you. Its about tapping into your potential, removing inner barriers you may have from the past so you can tap into your potential and passion to create unexpected breakthroughs. For this I draw on different pertinent tools and work with what you and I decide to focus on, which can include lifestyle, diet, nutrition, mindset and above all into tapping into your potential and passion
